Some
people get mighty depressed this time of year. I don't really.
Actually this year I have less reason to be depressed than
usual.
One
reason to not be depressed is that we are actually celebrating
one year with Provoparty.com this month! Way thanks to everyone
for making the counter exceed 1600 (although most of that
was me uploading new stuff and checking to make sure it
worked). To commemorate this occasion, Graffix will be making
the t-shirts that we were supposed to make a year ago. Also,
we will be having a massive party at our pimpin' Provoparty
pad (which actually doesn't exist) on December 20.
I
will buy dinner to the first attractive person who tells
me what our hidden message says.
Anyway...
on to me not being depressed.
About
a week ago I finally finished my last class ever for school.
I found out that I had about a week and a half to finish
the whole thing through independent study. I also found
out that the independent study people don't allow you to
take a course in less than two weeks. Fortunately they didn't
notice and I totally got a B+. So that's pretty cool. One
more really fun aspect of my life is over.
My cushy
job with the Church ends this month. Now normally that would
be a bad thing, but now I don't have to wear a suit everyday,
wake up at 5:30, get home at 6:30 and get carpel tunnel
from being on a computer all day. Also, very importantly,
I will have a chance to grow the mother of all facial hair
(which will be very convenient in terms of warmth, cuz not
only will I be schoolless and jobless, but come February
I'll also be jobless and homeless as well).
Let
me not forget the most important annual occurance in the
month of December this year's next chapter of Lord
of the Rings. The
Two Towers holds a very special place in my heart
if memory serves me correctly from reading the books on
the bus in seventh grade. This year's installment I seem
to remember is the fastest pace as well as the most bloody.
I think
that most people relate themselves to some character in
fiction, beit film or literature. Most girls I know totally
see themselves in Anne from Anne
of Green Gables, Miss Bennett from Pride
and Prejudice, or maybe Lucy from While
You Were Sleeping. A few guys I know relate to Neo
from The
Matrix or unfortunately to Rudy.
Over the years, one character from literature has far and
above exceeded all others in earning his place as the fictional
alter ego of Rexbasior. His name is Gollum. From what I
understand, he should be featured prominently in this year's
Lord of the Rings installment.
Switching
viewpoints slightly, I also relate to The
Two Towers in the opposite perspective. The movie
details the lives of a broken fellowship of nine people.
About this time last year I had eight really close friends.
Since then, three of them moved away, two were seduced away,
one took a spiritual journey and might return, one still
sort of hangs around, and the last one was ambushed and
killed by an orc horde. It's very, very weird.
Anyhow,
it's also time to shop.
Sometimes I envy everyone but me because I'm the easiest
person to shop for. Please click here
for information on what to purchase for
me.
E-mail
me to tell me what you want and I'll also post it
right here on this site!
