flashback:

15 December 1993

Peter says he is thinking about not going to the Christmas Dance. I heard this through J.R. after psychology as he was getting out of history ( I heard later from Peter that J.R. told him about something very disturbing that as so disturbing that Pete wouldn't tell me). We got PSAT scores back. I scored in the 90th percentile in verbal and mathal skills. Mike and Andy left at about 5 and 6 to go to the Billy Joel concert. Andy said he didn't sing that one song about being only human and getting your second wind. That disturbed me. Pete called to say that he and J.R. got in an accident... again.

Have a very merry solstice everyone!

christmas missed

It's funny how somewhere along the line Christmas became more of an obligation than a chance to really celebrate. Fortunately this year I haven't been very fortunate. Being pretty jobless, I have become fairly poor and therefore unable to fulfill some of my Christmas obligations which include buying thoughtful, expensive things for my friends and family. Even though I'm not spending much money this year, I have retained my right to stress out over shopping. I now present the following list to some of the people who regularly receive gifts from me, but actually won't this year. The list is what I might get you if i were to get you a present. Browse and enjoy. Have your credit cards ready because you can buy most of these things online.
